- What are the products made of?
- Where and how were the materials procured?
- If made of wood, was it legally harvested?
- How are they processed into finished goods?
- What is the environmental impact?
- What will happen to the product after its served its purpose? Can it be reused or recycled?
Pieces shown on SO Green have met some level of eco-assessment. One product may meet all the criteria, but is is more likely in todays environment that a manufacturer is doing one part of the sustainability puzzle amazingly well and working on the other pieces.
